Heartbreak and Marks
We loved each other once.
But that ended with heartbreak and marks.
Throughout our years, we laughed, cried, and hugged.
When it ended, our hearts were torn.
But somewhere inside, we knew we died.
Our time spent was magic to me.
Days hadn't come or gone without one thought of you.
But when we ended, it seemed to hurt us both.
Your face wet with tears and mine.
You reach over and stroke my face.
You reassure me everything's okay
But I know it's not.
My face broken from heartbreak
And your's from the words.
They tore from your mouth like a hurricane.
You seemed like you wished you'd never said them.
Inside our hearts, heartbrea
The night crept to a crawl and it became tiring.
The regular dance music changed,
People began to scatter.
For the music was not known,
Except for you and I.
You look at me from across the room and smile.
You make your way to me and bow low.
"May I have this dance," you'd ask.
You pulled me away before I could answer.
My heart fluttered as you looked at me.
I'd freeze the picture, if I could.
Would you pull me against you when you became lonely.
Or would i have to ask?
Let my head become heavy and rest against your shoulder.
Let us sway as if no one was watching.
I though I was faint, so my hand on your should became lighter.
On my trip, i cross a way.
It's split in two, going either way.
Inside, i go left.
My feet go right.
I meet in the middle,
And now it's night.
With my eyes only seeing one way,
I don't know which one's right.
I turn around, preparing to leave
But my body says stay.
What made my heart skip beat?
What made it jump away?
The roads where the two lead, disappear.
They turn to day.

Until days become short
I'm swimming in a sea of no tomorrows,
Waiting for your skin to brush mine.
Through all our time, tears and sorrows,
I'l finally give you space and let you shine.
And days become long and nights become short.
Call me up one day and i'll finally say what i want to say.
I tell you your eyes are like the sun,
Bright and shining. Your skin, the silk of your dress.
You lips are the color of red, red roses,
Waiting to be plucked and served with a gentle kiss.
Oh, how, pretty woman, can you stand here now?
Before a creature that's as gruesome as i?
Do you see what i see?
I see burned skin, from where i touched flames.
I see body too m
Beautiful People:
Do not judge people by the way they look.
For looks are deceiving.
For if you think you're not pretty as the girl next to you...
Look again.
She, too, has flaws.
You might not be able to see them,
but they're there.
Next, look at you.
Then back at her.
Do you see a resemblance?
Yes!
She is similar to you.
You think to yourself,
people say that God is radiant and beautiful,
then i look at myself,
how beautiful i am if i'm made after God's image.
Just remember.
You're beautiful inside and out.
Never think that you are lower than anyone else.
God doesn't make crap.
He makes beautiful people.

Okay, so the Romeo and Juliet ballet was awesome! i loved it. Then i went back and read the play and i got to thinking: The whole Romeo killed himself because Juliet was "dead". If they just had cell phones, then none of it would have ever happened. End of discussion. Unfortunately, we had a spirited debate on that theory and uh, it didn't go well. let's just say some tables were put back together with duct tape. How awesome! i know, right? Well TTFN.
This is a new idea i have for a novel, but i guess that it's going to end up as a short story.
I'm not sure. But i'm going to post it here. Read it please, but don't give too much of a harsh critique. I'm just a writer starting out and it's a rough draft. Here we go!
*Please don't take my idea. It's stealig and it wouldn't help me if someone steals my work. Could you imagine me wanting to get this published then find out that someone took off running with it? So please, don't take it. It was my idea. Thank you. Enjoy!*
